The Allis-Chalmers D15 Series II replaced the D15 for 1963. The D15 Series II featured gas and LPG engines that were bored 0.125 inch larger, while the diesel engine remained the same. Headlights were moved from the hood to the larger rear fenders, an oval muffler was added, and the air filters were changed from oil bath to a dry type.

Financial difficulties led to dissolution in 1985. The farm equipment operations were sold to Klockner-Humboldt-Deutz of Germany. Tractor production continued under the Deutz-Allis name until 1989, when management purchased the company to form AGCO.
